When entering the Airport, note that the inbound roadway system consists of an upper level for departures and a lower level for arrivals. All parking is accessed from the roadway on the lower/arrivals level.
- Stay to the left for Lower Roadway (arrivals and parking)
- Stay in the Middle Lane for Upper Roadway (departures)
- Use the far right lane for access to Harborside Drive (Harborside Hyatt, Rental Cars, Logan Office Center and Post Office).
Getting to Logan Airport:
- From the West: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike East and drive straight ahead. The Turnpike extension will conveniently take you into the Ted Williams Tunnel and on to the airport.
- From the North: The Callahan Tunnel or Route 1A South are still your only routes to Logan and will remain so. No direct connection will be built from I-93 South to the Turnpike extension and Ted Williams Tunnel.
If you are traveling from the North on I-93 South, take Exit 24 (Government Center / Airport), stay in the left lane and go through the Callahan Tunnel. The Airport will be your second exit.
For those traveling from the North Shore, follow I-95 to Route 1 South (Saugus.) Take Route 1 to the Route 60 exit (Revere Beach, Sumner Tunnel, and Logan Airport). Follow signs to 1A South to Logan Airport.
Please note: The old North Street route from Congress Street into the Callahan Tunnel will no longer provide alternate access into the Callahan Tunnel. Downtown drivers in the Government Center area headed into the Callahan Tunnel must now use the new Haymarket (New Chardon Street) entrance.
- From the South: The Exit 20 ramp connects I-93 North to the eastbound Turnpike and the Ted Williams Tunnel.
Leaving Logan Airport:
- Heading West: Use the Ted Williams Tunnel. It will bring you directly to the westbound Massachusetts Turnpike.
- Heading North: For now, your trip home from the airport remains the same. Follow outbound roadway signs and take the Sumner Tunnel to I-93 North. When the northbound lanes of the new underground Central Artery opened, a ramp was constructed that connects the westbound Turnpike extension to the I-93 North tunnel, giving you the option of using the Williams Tunnel and Turnpike extension to reach I-93. You can also follow signs on Logan’s outbound roadway to Route 1A North, connecting to all points on the North Shore.
- Heading South: Take the Ted Williams Tunnel and I-90/MassPike West to I-93 South via the new Exit 23.
